Support to data collection and management for WASH and Health Endline Survey – Phase 2

Plan International, Lao PDR

The WIN project is a direct response to the recognised negative long-term development implications of under-nutrition for individuals, households and communities, and the fact that Lao PDR records the highest rates of under-nutrition in Southeast Asia.

Civitas conducted training on and support to the data collection, tabulation, and analysis for the endline survey. The data collection process followed CARE’s Social Norms Measures for Gender Programming (SNAP) methodology and Oxfam’s Women Economic Empowerment impact assessment methodology. The questionnaire was adapted with the “Washington Group Questions”, an inclusive set of questions designed to identify people with functional limitations.
