Distribution of 100,000 Improved Cookstoves in Lao PDR to reduce non-renewable biomass consumption for cooking and water boiling, therefore reducing greenhouse gasses. CQC and Civitas consultants will coordinate the implementation of the project where stoves are distributed to targeted rural households with low efficiency stoves. Furthermore, the Civitas team will establish a maintenance programme and at the same time monitor the stoves usage and efficiency for carbon credit trade.
