UNICEF is trialling new methods to promote district planning and pedagogical support, in order to aid the Lao PDR Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES) to reach the goals for improving teacher competence and student learning as identified in the Education Sector and Development Plan 2021-2025.
Civitas is supported the development of an Action Research toolkit for the newly created Action Research Team in the MOES to use as they work to strengthen school and district level planning, mobilize pedagogical advisors, and improve learning outcomes for students throughout the country.
