Civitas – Consulting for Communities
Civitas is a research-based consulting company that uses an anthropological approach to provide deep insight into local realities. We make practical, fact-based recommendations to our clients that drive positive social, environmental, and financial outcomes. Civitas operates with a small core team of ten Lao nationals and two expat directors. Additional consultants work to support us within their specific areas of expertise.
Civitas creates understanding between our clients and the respondents of our research. We use integrated methodologies to delve underneath a surface understanding of how people live and work. Civitas does most of our information gathering, dissemination, planning, assessment and implementation with a participatory approach, and engages both our clients and our respondents throughout the process to ensure optimal outcomes.
