Korean Institute for Rural Development (KIRD) With KOICA funding, KIRD implemented the Rural Development Project based on the Saemaul Undong model in 30 villages in Vientiane and Savannakhet provinces from 2015-2019. In 2020, the project was extended to further 20 villages in the three southern provinces, Salavane, Sekong and Attapeu. Civitas conducted the socio-economic baseline study for the project extension, consisting of 335 interviews across the 20 target villages. Civitas designed and implemented the survey, using a digital platform and audio recording for quality control. Our senior staff conducted a full analysis and report.
